Custom order policy

Thank you for considering a custom order. Please review this information before placing your request. We will confirm the details with you before work begins.

How Custom Orders Work

Every custom piece is made by hand in York, Pennsylvania, and follows the same six steps from first message to delivery.
1. Inquire. Send your idea through the contact form on our Custom Designs page. Include the materials you like, ring size, band width, any engraving, your budget, and inspiration photos. The form cannot take photos, so email them to cameronsenftdesigns@gmail.com.
2. Get a quote. We reply with a design plan, a price, and an estimated completion time.
3. Approve and pay the deposit. Your order begins once you approve the design and pay a 50% deposit.
4. We build it. Your piece is crafted by hand. Most are finished in 2–4 weeks.
5. Pay the balance. The remaining 50% is due before your piece ships.
6. Delivery. We ship with tracking, and your size exchange window starts when the piece arrives.

Pricing and payment

Every custom piece is priced individually, and a 50% deposit starts your order. Pricing depends on the materials, band width, inlay complexity, and engraving, and you will receive a written quote by email before you pay anything.
• Deposit: 50% of the quoted price, due when you approve the design.
• Balance: the remaining 50%, due before your piece ships.
• Changes after approval: If you change the materials or design after approving a quote, the price and timeline may change.
Your quote explains how to pay.

Production timeline

Most custom pieces are finished in 2–4 weeks. The clock starts once you have approved the design and we have received your deposit.
Some orders take longer, including those with rare or special-order materials, intricate inlays, or customer-supplied materials. If yours will, we say so in your quote. Shipping time is separate from production time.
If you need your piece by a specific date, such as a wedding or anniversary, please let us know. We will tell you honestly if it's possible.

Design Approval and Changes

We will start the work only after you approve the final design. An email or message reply counts as an approval.
• Before the work starts: you can adjust any details at no charge.
• After the work starts: changes may not be possible. If they are possible, they may add cost and extend the timeline, and we'll confirm both before proceeding.
• Engraving and text: please check spelling, dates, and punctuation carefully. We engrave exactly what you approve, and we cannot be responsible for any errors in the text you provide.

Sizing and Size Exchanges

As long as the ring can go back into our stock, every ring includes one free size exchange. If it cannot be returned, a size change would be considered a remake and would carry a remake fee.
Please confirm your size with a local jeweler before ordering. Wide bands generally fit tighter than narrow ones, so measure for the width you plan to order.
• Free exchange: if your ring does not fit, contact us within 14 days of delivery. A ring that can be returned to stock, such as a tungsten ring with an opal inlay, can be exchanged for the correct size at no charge. Please return it undamaged. All customers are responsible for any return shipping costs, but we will ship the replacement to you at no charge.
• Remake fee: if a ring has an engraving, like a wedding date, is made with personal materials, and does not fit, it cannot go back into our stock to be resold. This size change would be considered a remake, and we will send a quote with the remaking fee before any additional work would begin.
• Hard metals: tungsten and similar materials cannot be resized, and an exchange always means a new ring is made.

Cancellations and Refunds

Your deposit is refundable until the work on your piece begins, but not after.
• Before work starts: you can cancel for a full refund of your deposit. The work starts when we order the materials or begin making your piece, and we will tell you when your order reaches this point.
• After work starts: your deposit is non-refundable because the materials are purchased specifically for your piece.
• Damaged or incorrect product: upon receiving your piece, if it has a defect or does not match the design that you had approved, we will repair or remake it at no cost to you.
• Unpaid balance: if the remaining balance is not paid within 30 days after you have been notified that your order is finished, the deposit is forfeited, and we will sell the piece.
